1. Speak with grace
Discuss teachings, beliefs, and institutions respectfully. Honest theological disagreement and criticism of ideas are welcome. Threats, degrading attacks against people, hateful slurs, or targeted abuse based on race, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity are prohibited. A religious argument does not excuse mistreatment.
2. Handle Scripture and sources faithfully
Explain passages in context, identify quotations and sources, and distinguish interpretation from biblical text. Do not fabricate evidence, falsely attribute a sermon or quotation, or present AI-generated content as a real person's testimony or teaching. Clearly disclose material AI alterations that could mislead viewers.
3. Protect children and vulnerable people
Accounts are for people aged 13 or older, or the higher minimum age required where they live. Members under 18 need a parent or guardian's permission and guidance. Grooming, sexual exploitation, sexual conversations with minors, requests for intimate images, trafficking, and coercion are prohibited. Report suspected abuse; do not download, repost, or send exploitative images as evidence.
4. Reject spiritual abuse
Do not use spiritual authority, prophecy, threats of curses, claims of healing, or promises of blessing to pressure anyone into money, sexual activity, secrecy, or obedience. Do not demand that victims remain silent or prevent them from seeking professional help or reporting abuse. These rules apply equally to pastors, apostles, administrators, and members.
5. Respect boundaries in messages and calls
No stalking, bullying, sexual harassment, blackmail, coordinated harassment, repeated unwanted messages or calls, or contacting someone through another account after being blocked. Accept a person's refusal and stop contacting them. Obtain permission before recording or publishing a conversation. HSM does not record audio/video calls; another participant could record using their own device.
6. Protect privacy and consent
Ask permission before sharing someone else's personal details, prayer needs, testimony, photos, or confidential conversations. Do not expose addresses, contact information, passwords, financial details, medical records, or intimate material without permission. Never publish identifying details that could endanger a child or another person.
7. Keep media safe and respect creators
No pornography, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual intimate images, graphic cruelty, credible threats of violence, or instructions that facilitate serious harm. Do not encourage suicide, self-injury, dangerous challenges, or stopping necessary treatment. Supportive discussion is welcome. Upload music, sermons, images, and videos only when you have permission or another valid right to use them. Unauthorized voice cloning and deceptive impersonation are prohibited.
8. Keep fellowship and fundraising trustworthy
No spam, scams, fake church accounts, false ministry credentials, malware, illegal sales, or misleading donation requests. Identify who receives donations and their intended use; do not promise guaranteed financial returns, salvation, healing, or blessings in exchange for payment. Church registration and member posts do not establish HSM endorsement. Do not pretend to speak officially for HSM.
9. Church leaders share responsibility
Church administrators must have authority to represent their church, protect member information, and address reported misconduct. Do not use church access to pressure members, harvest contact details, or retaliate against complaints. Church affiliation does not make private messages or saved studies available to church leaders. HSM's standards apply across every church community.
10. Report, review, and appeal
Use Report on available posts or messages and Block member to stop unwanted contact. You may also email HSM for safety concerns, copyright complaints, or appeals. Include the relevant link or identifier and a brief explanation; do not email passwords or exploitative images. HSM may issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts. Serious harm may require immediate action without a warning.
11. Fair treatment and urgent safety
When practical and safe, HSM will explain the rule behind an action. Email an appeal with the decision details; a different reviewer will be used where available. Good-faith reports and appeals must not trigger retaliation. HSM is not monitored continuously and cannot promise a response time. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; do not wait for a moderator.
