Paul’s call to prayer follows the teaching about standing firm in God’s strength. He asks believers to pray with persistence for the saints, and asks for boldness in proclaiming the gospel.

Intercession turns attention toward the needs of others. Pray for your church, a person who is struggling, and those entrusted with teaching and service.

Keep a small prayer list in your private journal. Return to it over time and record answers with gratitude, while allowing space for unresolved requests.

Reflect

Who will you remember in prayer this week?

Pray

Lord, strengthen your people and help me care for them through prayer and action.
